He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Long and Dora Long (Lotz); his parents-in-law, Paul and Hazel Dassonville; his siblings, Wes Long (Ruth), Howard Long, Leonard Long (Winifred) and Helen Long Mueller (Don); his siblings-in-law, Everall Holman, Lloyd Dassonville (Lois), Hank Dassonville (Pat), Peggy Vanderhoff (Verl) and Phyllis Berge (Dick); and his son Michael Ray Long.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Long; his children, Doug Long (Therese), Doreen Long Sansaver (Noel), Kathy Rutherford (Ross), Steven Long, Terri Sansaver (Shawn) and David Long (Teresa); his daughter-in-law Brenda Henry; his siblings, Marion Holman, Donelda Peterson (Bob) and Gene Long; and his siblings-in-law, Curtis Dassonville (Karen) and Delores Long. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 30 nieces and nephews.
