He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Olson and Fern Olson. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his daughters, Patty Eckelman and DeAnn Fredrickson; his grandchildren, Ellen Kolb (Ruslan), Sid Fredrickson, Dallas Eckelman and Bailey Eckelman; and his sister Darlene Merritt (Al). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
