He is survived by: his brother-in-law Jerry Gates; his sister Laurel Gates of Polson; his daughters, Shawna Hemmelman of Kalispell and Brandy Warren of Pablo; and his stepdaughter Wanda Adams of Pablo. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
