It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jorja Taff of Missoula, Montana, born in Moscow, Idaho, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 18, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Linda and Charles Taff; and her great-grandparents, Wes and Laura Nearing. She is survived by: her parents, Ben Taff and Miranda Taff; her siblings, Ashlyn (Tyler), Reignah and Isaac; and her grandparents, Andy and Cheryl Nearing. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

“Hi, it’s Peyton Sumner back in Moscow, Idaho. Jorja was an incredible human being and I adored her. She really helped break me out of my shell and she was always capable of cheering me up. It was so bittersweet to find out that she had found herself in swimming, too. I started this year and have been loving it. I would’ve loved to reconnect with her over it. Thank you so much for allowing me to spend time with you all when I was younger and I wish you all the best moving forward.”
