He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Schindler and Ella Schindler (Brodehl); his former wife Judy Orman; and his siblings, Lyle, Milo, Dennis, Patty Sommer and Janet.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Hunter (Bateman) of Lewistown; his children, Troy (Lynn) of Great Falls, MT, Rollie Pearson (Jim) and Robin Beardsley (Doug) of South Lyon, MI; his stepchildren, Shawn Hunter of Lewistown, Lori Degenhart (Ron) of Belgrade, MT and Jamie Putnam (Nathan) of Bozeman, MT; his sister Sharon Whigham of Stockton, CA; his grandchildren, Mandy, Jesse, Shelby, Chloe, Logan and Camryn; and his stepgrandchildren, Brooklyn, Bailey, Madison, Caden, Taylor, Hope, Payton and Jackson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends are asked to make memorials to Camp Maiden, Judith Basin 4 H, Kiwanis Scholarship Fund or to the charity of their choice and they may be left with the Cloyd Funeral Home.
