She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurence Hayford and Grace Hayford; her children, Robert, Barbara and Marlene; her husbands, Lawrence Messier and Richard Fairbairn; and her siblings, Ralph, Vera and Ruth.
She is survived by: her son Dennis Messier. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren; 5 great-great- grandchildren; 1 great-great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
