He was predeceased by: his parents, Hjalmer Grimlie and Alice Grimlie (Christianson); his brothers, Blaine and Roger; his daughter Patricia; his son-in-law Rodney Patik; his sister-in-law Maryls Grimlie; and his nephew Mark Nelson.

He is survived by: his wife Terry; his siblings, Wanda Nelson and Terry Grimlie; and his children, Mike (Sindy), Toni Patik and Catherine Gillespie (Brian). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Kalispell Lions, P. O. Box 321, Kalispell, MT 59903 or a charity of your choice.
