He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Lynch and Marie Lynch; and his son Corey Johnson. He is survived by: his former spouse Zenda Koch; his pets, Lad, Boomer, Max, Sug, Jill and Jerry; his wife Carol; his stepchildren, Jeff Lynch, Conley Lynch, Jenny Kuntz (Patrick), Marion Nielsen (Tim), Matt Warner and Ann Smith (Bob); and his brothers, Neil Lynch (Charlotte) and Jim Lynch (Cathy). He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
