He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerold "Bud" and Rhoda Albertson; his wife Polly; and his sister Rhonda. He is survived by: his former wife Merry Ward; his sons, Scott Dawson (Serena) of Havre, Ryan Albertson (Cassie) of Havre and Jimmy Albertson (Stephanie) of Havre; his grandchildren, Savannah, Sophia, Selah Dawson, Zoey, Adalyn Albertson, Kathryn, Makena, Penelope, Theodora and Jeremiah Albertson; and his siblings, Mardy Robinson of Havre and Brett Albertson (Julie) of Bozeman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Butch's family has suggested memorial donations be made in his name to Railroad Pagers, Friends of Beaver Creek Park, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
