He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Holmquist (Connie) and Margaret Schnell Holmquist; his wife Janice; his daughter Dorothy; and his brothers, Robert and Jerome.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles Holmquist (Gina) of Hamilton and Newton Holmquist (Becky) of Logan, UT; and his siblings, James (Madelyn) of Ramona, CA and Linda Greenup (Calvin) of Darby. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
