With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Faye Burud of Hamilton, Montana, born in Chokio, Minnesota, who passed away on November 25, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Petersdorf and Adah Petersdorf (Thomas); her former husband James Burud; her siblings, Charlie, Hershel, Willy, Curtis, Ronald, Louise and Eunice; and her pet Bud.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Karin; her daughters, Dani Thompson (Andrew) of Bloomington, MN and Karin Melnarik (Joe) of Hamilton, MT.; her grandchildren, Brian Thompson (Kellie) of Savage, MN, Nicole Zackson (Briana) of Shakopee, MN, Charlie, Phillip and Emily Melnarik of Hamilton, MT; her great grandchildren, Chaz and Teagan; and her sisters, Elmeda Neuman and Carol Holm.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Bitter Root Humane Association, 262 Fairgrounds Rd., Hamilton, MT 59840.
