He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Inman and Nancy Inman (Burgess); his stepson P. J. Prebble; and his nephew Shawn. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Hawley; his children, Brandy Malcher (Mike) of Billings and Bud Inman (Jen) of Billings; his stepdaughters, Ashley Nelson (Tristan), Taryn Rouse and Renee Prebble; his grandchildren, Justin, Rylee, Addy, Austin and Cooper; and his siblings, Joe (Susan), Jim, Mary K. Freund (Ron), Tom (Roxie), Pat (Ingrid), Margaret Reid (Brian), Mike, Kathy Miller (Ric) and Nancy Moriarty (Doug). He is also survived by 23 nieces and nephews.
