He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Hjelvik and Thelma Hjelvik; his wife Karen; his son Jim; his daughter-in-law Sarah; his grandchildren, Thomas and Katie of England; and his sister Linda Marko of Idaho. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
