He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Roger and Edna Janet Hane (Kinna); his wife Thelma of Fort Shaw, MT; his children, Mike Hane (Patti) of Fort Shaw, MT, Tim Hane of Fort Shaw, MT, Jon Hane (Shannon) of Fort Shaw, MT and Janet Hayes of Great Falls, MT; his son-in-law Dallas McKay; and his daughter Marianne McKay. He was also cherished by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
