He was predeceased by: his parent Arne Sand; his wife Edith Lenora Posey; and his brothers, Arne Sand Jr and Larry Sand. He is survived by: his former wife Hazel Tessman; his children, Ryan Sand and Pamela Dews; his stepdaughter Paula Hodsdon; and his siblings, Patty Moyer, Calvin Sand and Darrel Sand. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
