He is survived by: his wife Heidi Trechsel Sobczak; his sons, Caleb Sobczak (Kabrena) and Micah Sobczak; his grandson Finn Carlton Sobczak; his siblings, Flloyd Sobczak (Suzanne) and Augusta Welsh (Michael); and his aunt Christine.
