He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Bangert and Fred Bangert; and his daughters, Cathy and Sherry. He is survived by: his son Larry Bangert (Nancy) of Laurel; his grandchildren, Loren Bangert (Lacy) of Silesia, Karen Payovich (Matt) of Billings, Gary Bangert (Amannda) of Killdeer, Lindsey Lehman (TJ) of Helena and Bryan Somers of Portland; and also Dick Hardt. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. John's Lutheran Ministries.
