He was predeceased by: his parents, Ausbon Boyd and Beulah Myers Boyd; and his sister Avis Laverne Howard. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Boyd of West Point; his stepsons, Randall Morris, Dennis Morris and Robert Morris; his cousin Virginia Collier of Raymond, MS; and his nieces, Jennifer Summerlin (Phil) and Amy Ellis (Griff). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
