She was predeceased by: her parents, Rubie Marie Neal and Otis Adrian Lewis; and her husband Edward Stanton. She is survived by: her daughter Caroline Stanton of West Point; her brother Dannie Lewis (Helen) of Eupora; her niece Pam Rogers of Oxford; her close friends, Tina Edwards, Amanda Chandler and Lois Higginbotham; and her son Zachary Edwards of West Point.
