She is survived by: her husband William E. Buchanan of West Point; her children, Mark Buchanan (Donna) of Pawhuska, Burnette Avakian of Columbus and Robin Foster of West Point; and her grandchildren, Grace Alexander, Charles K. Foster, Ragan Foster, Elizabeth Skrobialowski, Lydia Gliniak, William, Tad and Merchant.
