It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ronald Wirt of Water Valley, Mississippi, who passed away on November 4, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Augustus Wirt and Pearl Tate Wirt; his daughter Rhonda Renee Farris; and his grandson James Michael Merrick. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine May Wirt; his children, Dana Leanne Hughey (Andy), Regina Dawn Rushing, James Ronald Wirt, Jr. and Robert Hall; his sister Eleanor Wilbanks (Edwin); his grandchildren, Jon Devon Farris, Ashely Hughey, Jessy Read, Drew Hughey and Christina Wirt; and his great grandchildren, Cruz Read, Ashley Merrick, Michael Hughey and Gracie Hughey.
