He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Clayton and Julia Clayton (Parler). He is survived by: his friends, Billy Dorris, Jimbo Thompson and Tabernacle Church; his sons, David Clayton of Charleston, SC, Kevin Clayton (Stephanie) of Moncks Corner, SC and Thomas Clayton; his siblings, Johnny Clayton of Givhans, SC and Betty Freeman of Savannah, SC; and his grandson Corey Arbuckle (Roger).
