He is survived by: his father Charles Hervey; his children, David Lee Hervey, Jr. of Waterloo, Iowa and Shaniece Robinson of Water Valley, MS; his siblings, Ruby Jean Barr of Water Valley, MS, Theresa Hervey of Water Valley, MS, Charles Hervey of Water Valley, MS, Willie Steve Hervey of Water Valley, MS, Chris Hervey of New Albany, MS and Craig Baker of Tupelo, MS; and his grandson Adrian Robinson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
