It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Betty Baker Thomas of Water Valley, Mississippi, who passed away at the age of 78, on September 22, 2021. She was predeceased by: her grandsons, Stephen Leroy Baker, Jr. and Devin Alexander Shipp; and her brother Clifton Leroy Dyer, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Charles Roger Thomas; her children, Stephen Baker (Brenda) of Water Valley, Felix Shipp (Brenda) of Grenada, Stephanie Prince (TJ) of Batesville, Wendy Hodge (Jeff) of Water Valley and Carla Thomas of Ecru; and her sister Shirley Dyer Griffin Hurst of Banner. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
