He was predeceased by: his parents, James Beard and Mavine Beard; and his siblings, James Beard and Cynthia Beard. He is survived by: his wife Patti S. Beard; his children, Kellie Fortenberry (Robby), Ashley Hemphill (Michael) and Brad Beard; his grandchildren, Brayden Ray, Dakota Beard, Kayleigh Beard, Karlie Grace Ray, Blake Beard, Emma Hemphill and Lynlee Hemphill; his brother Eric Beard (Judy); and his sister-in-law Carole Stephenson (Timmy). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
