He is survived by: his wife Virginia Jean Simmons Groy; his children, Mike Mitchell (Charleen), Matthew Mitchell, Paula Rushing, Pam Plummer, Patti Wood (Kevin) and Penni Garcia (Manny); and his sisters, Nancy Borri (Bob) and Linda Donaldson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
