He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah Grace Sanders; his mother Ruby Hall (James C. Sanders); and his siblings, Debra, Mary Nell, Patsy, Nancy, Emmett, Donnie and Billy.

He is survived by: his children, Selena Sanders and Keith Pickering; his granddaughters, Victorya Amborn (Andy) and Madison Grace Hull; his sisters, JoAnn Harris and Betty Jean Rodrigue; and his great grandchildren, Madalynn Reese and John Ledger. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
