He is survived by: his wife Corrie Spivey; his sister Sylvia Thornell (Redmond); and his children, Joy Holder (Jeff), Missy Lynn (Chuck), Eddie Murphy (Starla) and Shawn Spivey (Beth). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
