He is survived by: his children, Deborah Lynn Posey, Lindsey Michelle Odell, Katelyn Anita Posey, Walter Posey, III and Bruce Lane Posey; his grandchildren, Amber Thrash Hamilton, Walter Devin Posey, Deston Garrett Posey, Cade Lane Posey, Drake Evan Posey, Allyson Paige Tunstall, Austin Robert Tunstall and Ayden Cooper Tunstall; and his great grandchildren, Tripp Lane Hamilton, Carolyn Rae Posey, Summer Rose Posey and Willow Raine Posey.
