We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2019, at the age of 89, Pearl Leo Newsome (Utica, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cloteal Torry and Earnest Powell Torry; and her siblings, Ulysses Torry and Yvonne Green. She is survived by: her husband Joseph; her children, Selina, Edward, Cloteal, Harvellia, Joe (Annette), Vogel, Geneva and Maureen; her grandchildren, Ayanna, Oji, Aillevrah, Eric (Betsy), Rachel, Joel (Jessica), Joshua, Gabriel, Rebekah, Daquita, Batinna, Richard, Kendall, Floyd and Maurice; her great grandchildren, Ahyurric, Zakai, Aubrey, Zara, Alorha, Cassandra and Isaiah; her siblings, Ivory (George), Joyce, Tina and Howard (Cora); and her niece Dorothene (Paul). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
