She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald L. Strong and Ora Maxine Pevey Strong (John Mitchell Shelburne); her daughter Jennifer Elise Shelburne; and her brother Dr. Kenneth G. Strong. She is survived by: her children, Amanda Hope Izard (Caleb) of Amarillo, TX and John Kelly Shelburne of Brookhaven, MS; her grandchildren, Haleigh and Finn Izard of Amarillo, TX; her sister Jerolyn Strong Hobbs (John, Sr.) of Crystal Springs, MS; her nieces, Amy Strong Loggins (Roy) of Starkville, MS and Emily Strong Rutzky (Bob) of Nashville, TN; her sister-in-law Pat Parnell Strong; her nephews, John Hobbs, Jr. of Pearl, MS and Matthew Gerald Hobbs of Crystal Springs, MS; and her great-nephews, Hunter Loggins of Starkville, MS and Boyd Rutzky of Nashville, TN..
