He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Reed and Nell Reed; his wife Helen Glenn Reed; and his siblings, Dewey Earl Reed, Charlie Franklin Reed, Grady Elmer Reed, Jack Chester Reed (Clyde), Erma Jean Reed and Lois Dean Reed.
He is survived by: his sons, Virgil Kevin Reed (Angela), Elton Glen Reed (Leah) and Timothy Aaron Reed (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jamie Elizabeth Bunyard, Micah Aaron Reed, Sarah Dudley Reed, Shawn Thomas Myers, Sullivan Glen Reed, Shane Austin Reed, Sadie Elizabeth Reed, Palin Abree Reed and Abigail Elizabeth Myers; and his brothers, Henry Thomas Reed and Robert McArthur Reed (Shirley). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
