He is survived by: his children, Lynese Goodman (Robby), Joe Lee Shelby, Jr. (Marcia) and Jason Shelby (Tina); his grandchildren, Shelby Sullivan (Brandon), Grant Goodman, Christian Shelby, Daniel Shelby, Bryan, Blake, Taylor, Alex and Lauren; his great grandchildren, Maisyn Baxley and Ava Laine Sullivan; and his sister Liz Parker (Sonny). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
