It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles David Shelby (Toomsuba, Mississippi), who passed away on September 17, 2018, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Shade Lee and Margaret Earline Shelby; and his siblings, John Shelby, Roger Shelby, Dot Ward, Eva Embry and May Ward.
He is survived by: his children, Farm, Crystal Ripley (Michael) of Jamestown and John David Shelby of Toomsuba; his grandchildren, Arissa Ripley, Dyson Ripley, Kenan Ripley, Elizabeth Ripley and Asher Ripley; his siblings, Joe Lee Shelby of Toomsuba, Richard Shelby (Cindy) of Toomsuba and Elizabeth Parker (Sonny) of Meridian; and his nieces and nephews, Melissa Carney (Jay) of Toomsuba, James Roger Shelby (Angela) of Lauderdale, Christina Brown (Othell) of Meehan, Ashley Simmons (Dusty) of Lauderdale, Elijah Brown, Isaiah Brown, Gabe Shelby, Dontae Shelby, Jacup Carney, Kristen Shelby, Ricquel Shelby, Tianna Shelby and Hannah Carney. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
