He is survived by: his granddaughter Elf; his parents, Albert E. Green and Nennie McCarey Green; his brother James "Jimmy" Green; his spouse Nora McDaniel Green of Terry, MS.; his son Kevin McQuirter (Cher) of St. Joseph, MO.; his sister Kay Green Williams (Darral) of Jackson, MS.; and his grandchildren, Jasmine McQuirter of Ellisville, MS. and Jared McQuirter of Ellisville, MS.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family wishes in Lieu of Flowers donations be made to The Boys and Girls Club at 1450 W Capitol St. Jackson, MS 39203.
