He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Rufus Weir and Bertie Harrell Weir; and his siblings, Margie Cortez Snow, Dorothy Hillman and Charles Ray Weir.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Guerry Weir of Terry; his children, Casey Weir of Brandon and Shelley Weir Carr (Brad) of Hazlehurst; and his grandchildren, Halle, Wren, Jax Carr, Baker and Reece Weir.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Lakeshore Congregational Methodist Church in Byram, MS.
