She was predeceased by: her father Alton Lee Thornton; and her parents-in-law, Morris and Mary Frances Gurley. She is survived by: her mother Myrtle Lee Goodson Thornton; her husband Terry Gurley; her children, Jimmy Gurley (Darla) and Lynn Price of Guntown; her grandchildren, Blake, Addison Price, Emmie and Lindsey Roberts; her brother Doug Thornton (Pat); her nephews, Casey Thornton (Anna) and Joseph Thornton (Kellie); and her brother-in-law Tommy Gurley.
In honor of her love for animals, the family requests donations be made to the Tupelo Lee Humane Society.
