She is survived by: her husband Joe Simmons of New Albany, MS; her daughter Kaneesha Simmons of New Albany, MS; her siblings, Patricia Yeates (Tee) of Starkville, MS, Edward Yeates (Barbara) of Columbus, MS, Dewayne Yeates and David Yeates (Kimberly) of Starkville, MS; her siblings-in-law, Anesa Smith and Micheal Simmons of Danville, IL; and her sister Karen Henderson of Sturgis, MS. She is also survived by three best friends and three Godchildren, and also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
