It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Jeanette McCarty (Soso, Mississippi), who passed away on April 10, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Emette Earl McCarty; her mother Emma Herrington; and her brother J. D. Herrington. She is survived by: her children, Ethan Earl and Freda Byrd (Neil); her grandsons, Edward Byrd and Landon Byrd (Lindsey); and her great grandchildren, Crawford Byrd, Lorelei Byrd and William Byrd. She is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention or Samaritan's Purse.
