He was predeceased by: his brother Emory Pegram; and his great grandchild Kaleigh Scruggs. He is survived by: his wife Jane Taylor Pegram; his daughter Melanie Pegram Willhite (Mark Rhodes); his grandchildren, Ashleigh Willhite Scruggs (Dusty), Faith Willhite (Kelvin Miller) and Andrew Rhodes; his great grandchild Omerion Gardner; and his sisters, Linda Pegram, Cyrilla Filsinger (Manford) and Stacey Moore (David). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other loved ones and friends.
