It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ernest Wilkerson Sr. (Senatobia, Mississippi), who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Wilkerson; his parents, Bill Wilkerson and Robbie Wilkerson; and his granddaughter Megan Cook. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Whitehead (Alvin), Cynthia Wilkerson (Joe) and Ernie Wilkerson; his sister Robbie Jean Holliman; and his grandchildren, Cacey (Philip), A. J. (Miranda), Allen (Ada), Kaitlyn (Michael), James and Matthew. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
