With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Welch Timbes of Seminary, Mississippi, who passed away on August 16, 2020 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her husband Raphael Allen "Ray" Timbes, Sr.; her parents, R. D. Welch and Willow Ann Pickering Welch; her daughter Deborah Marie Timbes Padgett; and her sister Georgia Welch Thames.
She is survived by: her son Raphael A. Timbes, Jr. of Collins; and her sister Barbara Welch Cranford of Seminary. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The church and funeral home will abide by all state mandates requiring that masks be worn and social distancing.
