He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Allen Hawkins, Sr. and Janice Chandler Hawkins; and his brother John Odell Hawkins. He is survived by: his siblings, Robbie Hawkins (Carrie) of Taylorsville, Jerrald "Thero" Hawkins (Teresa) of Taylorsville and Alison Hawkins Kercheval of Taylorsville; his granddaughter Anna Grace Ezell; and his nieces and nephews, Courtney Shoemaker, Ashley Clark, Brooke Kercheval, Merigrace Hawkins, Chloe Hawkins, Tyler Kercheval, Ayden Hawkins and Jackson Luckey.
The family requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
