With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Clayton (Sardis, Mississippi), born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on September 9, 2019 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ouida Grace Clayton and Hugh Clarence Clayton. He is survived by: his wife Genell Mattox Clayton of Sardis, MS; his children, Carrie Clayton Carullo (Matt) of Oakton, VA, Cati Clayton Frey (Larson) of Madison, MS and Don Clayton of Batesville, MS; and his stepchildren, Brooke Anthony Savell (Shay) of Brandon, MS and Allen C. Anthony, II (Tina) of Hernando, MS. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
