It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillie Ellis (Sardis, Mississippi), who passed away on December 5, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Taylor May and Robert Lee May; and her siblings, Pat Williams and Truman May. She is survived by: her husband Ray Ellis of Sardis, MS; her daughter Deronda Ellis Brooks (Jack) of Olive Branch, MS; her siblings, Betty Sue Harrison (Eddie) of Savannah, TN and Bob May (Laura) of Independence, MS; and her grandchildren, Ashton Brooks Winstead (Tyler) of Brandon, MS and Erin Brooks of Starkville, MS..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Ellis' memory to First Baptist Church, 108 W. Lee St., Sardis, MS 38666.
