He was predeceased by: his parents, Odessa Moore and Floyd R. Samuels; his wife Dorothy Faye Samuels; and his sister Edna Marie "Dee" Sorrells. He is survived by: his daughters, Rosa Vaughn of Searcy, AR and Teresa Jones (Harold) of Ocean Springs, MS; and his grandchildren, Nicole Love, Harold Jones, Jr. and Angel Jones. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
