He was predeceased by: his parents, Odis Sanford and Alice Sanford of Runnelstown; and his brother Howard Sanford of Petal. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sanford (Dominga); his children, Tommy Sanford (Pam) of Huntsville, Chris Sanford (Francis) of Runnelstown and Elizabeth Engle (Mike) of Lake City, Florida; his grandchildren, Kristen Martin, Kacie Bourn, Brandon Sanford, Chelsea Smith, Boyd Sanford, Alison Ramirez, Benjamin Engle and Andrew Engle; and his siblings, Alice Faye Brezeale, Harold and Nathan Sanford.
