She was predeceased by: her parents, James Leonard and Hazel Gregory Rogers; her husband Harry Whalen; her son Lanny Sanford; and her sisters, Marie Bailey and Peggy Hartfield.
She is survived by: her son Paul Sanford (Kim) of Runnelstown, MS; her sisters, Betty Rogers (Haskel) of Macedonia, MS and Patricia McGee of Runnelstown, MS.; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Edwards (Jeremy) of Richton, MS, Kelly Lott (Craig) of Richton, MS, Ashton Sanford (Leann) of Dahlonega, GA and Ashley Safier (Eric) of Dawsonville, GA.. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
