We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2024, at the age of 88, Archie Lane Bell Jr. (Ripley, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Lane Bell Sr. and Lavern Proctor Bell; his siblings, Mary Jean Hodum, Dorthy Lee Meeks, Jo Ruth Reed and Wallace Lane Bell; his wife Jane Bell; and his son-in-law Danny Meeks.
He is survived by: his children, Lane Bell (Lynn) of Chalybeate and Lisa Meeks of Tiplersville, Mississippi.; his grandchildren, Libby Meeks Crum (Zack) of Falkner, Mississippi, Leigh Bell Gafford (Austin) of Brighton, Tennessee, Landon Meeks of Tiplersville, Mississippi, Laurie Bell of Memphis, Tennessee and Larson Bell of Chalybeate, Mississippi; his great grandchild Hayven Gafford; his siblings, Fred Bell of Walnut, MS and Nora Pickens of Walnut, MS; and his caregiver Erica Hampton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and family and friends.
