He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Newton Schrimpshire and Estelle Edwina Schrimpshire Neal (Ivy); his daughter Alesha Jean Taylor; his siblings, Richard Schrimpshire, Toby Schrimpshire, Brenda Ford and Linda Burnett; and his grandson Kemper Wallace Haney.
He is survived by: his children, Chris P. Schrimpshire (Tina), Chase Taylor (Shannon), Wendy Turner (Anthony) and Ashley Haney (Odell); his stepdaughter Kimberly Taylor; and his siblings, Michael Schrimpshire, Sara Beckman (Tim) and Angie Nichols. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
